TRAINING
Trail Rescue Australia delivers practical field-skills training for hikers, trekkers, rangers, tour guides, and first responders to reduce preventable incidents and improve outcomes when things go wrong. Our diverse range of courses, scenario training programs and knowledge community provides our students and participants with expert and real world training, knowledge and guidance developed over decades in trail support, training, logistics and SAR.
We deliver basic, advance and specialised in-person and online courses in a wide range of skills such as emergency signalling, self-rescue techniques, wilderness survival and medicine, advanced navgiation, comms and much more. Very popular with hikers, Rangers and guides working in remote areas alone, in small teams or on tours
SCENARIO TRAINING
Put your training to the test and see how your skills, experience, knowledge and equipment performs under real world conditions and situations. This is one of our most popular forms of training because it is a reality check for many people hiking or working on trails - what is taught in training is often not how it is in real life.
KNOWLEDGE & COMMUNITY
Customers can access our community and how-to articles and videos, field notes, podcasts and live Q&As covering all things trail SAR, health and well being - hiker safety and wellbeing; rescue; preventative medical care; gear and equipment selection; emergency signalling; survival and much more!
